Xten Industries manufactures more than 20 different products for TableCraft Industries, a food-service supplier to restaurant distributors and home-products retailers. Any injection molder can produce a beverage dispenser, but Xten delivered more. Sourcing a clearer raw material for TableCraft’s Cold Beverage dispenser, Xten produced a product that delivered greater marketability and higher sales. Following molding of the dispenser, Xten assembly personnel finish the product by kitting non-plastic parts into finished dispensers. Xten then decorates the dispensers with private labels or TableCraft brand identification materials to meet the requirements of TableCraft’s distribution partners.
Xten also manufactures a number of plastic wrap dispensers for distribution to restaurants and food-service professionals across the country. Xten was instrumental in sourcing the raw materials for the Ken-Kut wrap dispenser to improve its durability and performance. Xten manufactures three different dispenser sizes on a 500 ton press. Following molding of a dispenser, Xten assembly personnel connect the lid to the base with hinge pins. Xten kits the wrap dispenser with a cutting blade, roller, rubber feet, installation hardware and decorates with TableCraft or private label brand identification materials for high-volume customers.
Because TableCraft distributes through both wholesale and retail outlets, Xten offers complete packaging, drop shipments, mixed pallets loads and 24/7 delivery across the country. Client-secured EDI inventory management services allow TableCraft to monitor, order and direct ship from any Internet-accessible computer in the world – greatly reducing internal inventory requirements and improving responsiveness to its customers around the world.
