Xten announces upgraded ISO certification

February 22, 2010

Xten Industries, an award-winning plastic injection molder and contract manufacturer, announces upgrading its ISO quality management certification to ISO 9001:2008.

According to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) this certification, awarded to Xten by Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc., is the established global standard for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships. With this rating, Xten is certified to conform with international standards in manufacturing and supplying of plastic parts, assemblies, components and finished goods to the market place.

“ISO 9001:2008 certification is important because it is the most recognized quality management standard in the world. Some benefits of being ISO certified included: customer satisfaction, increased productivity and efficiency and reduced costs,” stated Quality Manager Ruben Gordillo.  “More and more companies in all industries will only conduct business with ISO certified suppliers these days; therefore, this certification will give Xten a competitive edge when bidding for jobs.”

Xten has been ISO certified since it moved to its Kenosha location in 2002.
